ArT!!

This is my contribution to the journal in my possession currently in the ArtFest collaboration I'm in.

Her theme was Chinese Proverbs.

Liking all things birds lately, I went with a bird quote.

The only parameter was to incorporate part of an Asian newspaper on the page somewhere so I stamped the sheet music stamp and embossed in gold on the newsprint. 

The background in free hand paint in purple and gold acrylic. The little birdie is stamped with Distress Ink. The quote is lettered with Sharpie Pen.

Also, Jim and I finally hung the great piece of metal art that Brian gave us for Christmas!

I love it! 

It is repurposed metal piece that lights.
