Saturday Miscellaneous

We went to the farmers market today, a cold, snow-flurrying, blustery one it was. I picked up these black beans from Ivor, who is so thrilled with the story of how 10 acres of feed and fuel crops were transitioned to food-the black beans, non-genetically modified and not sprayed with chemicals. Sweet!

Chalkboard tribute to our visitor, Amy who arrived from Kenya.

I noticed the other day that my hellebores are blooming. Good thing I looked, I might have missed this treat! I hope the cold doesn't ruin them!

Aren't they beautiful?

Lastly, tonight is the long anticipated Dark Side of the Wall concert at the Brown Theater, with our favorite Rock Star relative- Brian- in the lead singer role. I made a shrink art charm necklace for the event. Some of us are meeting for a quick bite at Taco Punk beforehand. I'll give you a review of both soon (but really, would I say anything bad about the concert?)
